Another Movie Finished! “The Story of Home”

I just completed a new one! “The Story of Home” This is my new favorite (of course).

The format is inspired by Annie Leonard and The Story of Stuff. Take a look at storyofstuff.org if you have not seen these movies. I watch them and decided I needed to do a straight-shooting clear piece about my message.

This message is about what I’m learning from my teacher, Maharaji, that I can find great goodies inside myself. Good advice. And he helps me big time when I try to find them.

Santa Claus Is Dismissed and Learns of Inner Gifts, According to New Online Video

Doylestown, PA December 14, 2011 Santa Claus, internationally-known bearer of gifts and good tidings, was recently relieved of all of his Christmas responsibilities, due to an allegedly widespread appreciation of inner resources. A video, entitled “No Thanks, Santa!”, is circulating widely over the Internet, and explaining the reasons for this sudden dismissal. This video shows Mr. Claus’s strong emotional reaction to the news. The news was delivered yesterday by Joel Metzger, of Doylestown, PA, US, who gives five reasons for appreciating the gifts of life that come every day. Evidently this appreciation is widely shared and indicates a new general awareness of the qualities within, rather than possessions and items in physical reality.

Joel thanks Mr. Claus for his work and speaks highly of his effort to bring gifts to good children around the world, but then goes on to say, “The times are changing. I’ve been looking inside myself and discovering what I already have.” Mr. Claus is shown in the video losing his consistently jolly disposition and vociferously weeping. Joel tries to console Mr. Claus, saying, “Good luck finding another job” and he suggests, “Check the department stores downtown. They hire people like you every Christmas. Joel walks away with his arm on Mr. Claus’s shoulders, leaving viewers with the question, “Has Joel spoken harmfully to this all-time hero, or do we indeed have gifts inside of us?”

The Fountain

Placing attention inside is entirely different than any other awareness.

When I’m aware of things around me (see them, touch them, think about them, imagine them), then they have their own meaning and label. There’s a “thing file” that I pull up in my awareness. Immediately. Automatically.

But when I put my attention inside, it’s a whole different thing. No label or meaning or significance need be applied. I can relax. Just observe and receive.

And something magical happens. I am free to be invisible and transparent, an audience of the magic that is performed for me, my life. It is a one-way street. I need only appreciate and feel the beauty. It is a fountain of warmth, bathing my heart.

I was taught an easy way to be aware of myself inside — intimate, simple, and deep.

Self-awareness without labels and judgements brings a very simple and open feeling.

And that leads to a loving and beautiful experience.

And that leads to a balanced and contented life.

I just got the first DVD, with the case, all the printing, by express mail. It’s beautiful!! It looks just the way I hoped.

The DVD is designed, mastered, and uploaded. The DVD webpage is up. The shopping cart is ready.

I am waiting for my first sample DVDs. When they come (today or tomorrow), I will test it then order a bunch for friends and stores around here, and announce it in this blog and on Facebook.
